Ten years of anything is no small feat, and July 2022 marks the monumental achievement of ten years of Clark Academy. We start by humbly and graciously extending our thanks to the community members of Athiru Gaiti, the Athiru Gaiti Methodist Church, Maua Methodist Hospital, the Methodist Church of Kenya, the school administration, faculty, and staff, and our generous financial supporters and volunteers.
The school’s motto “working towards excellence” are not trivial words. Over the years we have strived to build a durable program that could deliver high-quality primary education year over year. Through that period, we have celebrated many accomplishments with a few challenges along the way – continued classroom and facility expansions, recent addition of a library, and now a new dorm under construction have all been cause for celebration, while the COVID-19 period proved to be difficult but surmountable.
Above all else, we recognize we have been blessed with sage leaders, eager students, supportive families, and kind neighbors. We pray for these blessings to continue so we may continue to enhance the offerings to our students and the community.
Please join us (in person or in spirit) for our 10th anniversary celebration at the school at the end of July! All of the community, church, school, and hospital leaders will be there along with the presiding bishop of the Methodist Church of Kenya.
